I've seen dozens of Monarch butterflies this past week. The asters are full of them (as well as honey bees), in spite of the strong, gusty winds we've had. We even had a tornado warning in Lancaster County last night. First time in a long time I've heard the sirens go off in Lincoln!

Thanks, Heather. I do, too. I posted another set of pics on July 21st. The Swallowtail butterfly is one of my favorite.I love the blue & yellow color combination.

Thanks, Nancy. You should've seen all the monarchs on that bush! They kept flitting around and one kept trying to land on my head.
